TRAINING FOR MILITARY VETERANS

100 HOURS OF FREE TRAINING

Rubicon team

A strong focus of our Foundation is helping US Military Veterans in the Denver metro make the transition from military life to civilian life by providing assistance with project management skills and preparing individuals to attain project management certifications.

“Returning veterans are discovering their military service trained their hands to help, to heal and to serve our fellow man.”

James Woods, Team Rubicon

To that end, we have provided more than 100 hours of FREE project management training to Team Rubicon members who worked the Lyons Flood Recovery in Colorado, including building a Project Plan for future disaster recovery training. Team Rubicon is a nationwide organization with a mission statement of, “Disasters are our business. Veterans are our passion.”

Training for Military Veterans

Through “like kind” contributions, members of Team Rubicon have sat with professionals from many industries in Denver and have taken a Project Management Systems course, plus CAPM® Exam Prep courses.

With financial help, they are continuing their training toward earning college certificates in Project Management from American Pathways University.

Additionally, we have provided training and coaching to members of the National Guard in the Denver Metro area, as well as in Colorado Springs.

“It’s a great honor for us to be able to help our military heroes get prepared for success in the business community,”

Bob Kois, PMP, Mentor
